A Sacred Invitation Across Continents

In the quiet majesty of Sweden's ancient forests, where pine trees stand like sentinels and the silence hums with spirit, a sacred meeting takes place.
The Africa–Sweden Healing Journey is more than a retreat — it is a weaving of worlds. It is where the ancestral wisdom of Africa meets the stillness of the North. Where fire and forest, drum and silence, cacao and still water, come together in remembrance.
Rooted in the African philosophy of Ubuntu — I am because we are — and guided by the reverent Swedish connection to nature, this retreat invites you to return to something ancient, something essential: the healing that happens when we remember we are not alone.
This is a homecoming for the soul.

Your Guides for the Journey

Chrisna — Keeper of Ancestral Fire
Chrisna's journey into healing began when her son was diagnosed with ADD. Witnessing the long-term effects of medication, she made the courageous decision to seek alternative paths — a mother's love guiding her into the world of holistic health. What began as a search for her child's wellbeing quickly became a deeper calling.
She immersed herself in study, completing countless courses and eventually becoming a qualified International Applied Kinesiologist. Along the way, she was initiated into African shamanic traditions, where ancestral wisdom and ritual brought her home to her roots.
Today, Chrisna offers intuitive, hands-on healing that blends energy medicine, emotional support, and traditional ceremony. Her presence is grounded, heart-centered, and shaped by lived experience. She walks beside others as they navigate emotional and energetic challenges — guiding them back into balance, clarity, and the truth of who they really are.

Madeleine — Guide of the Inner Path
Madeleine walks beside you as a psychosynthesis therapist, trauma-informed guide, and soul companion. Her own journey — from the corporate world into a profound healing crisis and rebirth — has shaped her into a compassionate mirror for others. She works with personal and ancestral trauma, helping you gently reintegrate the fragmented parts of yourself. Through deep listening and somatic presence, she brings the structure and subtlety needed to ground the retreat's transformation in lasting personal growth.

Salomie — Truth Weaver
Salomie is a psychologist, healer, and guide who brings warmth, wisdom, and grounded insight to her work. After more than two decades in the corporate world, a life-changing awakening led her to the path of holistic healing and personal transformation.
As a certified Kundalini yoga teacher, she offers a nurturing space where breath, movement, and emotional presence come together in service of inner truth. With a unique blend of psychological understanding and spiritual sensitivity, Salomie helps others feel seen, supported, and gently empowered to live more authentically.
Her presence is calm and steady — a quiet invitation to come home to yourself, just as you are.
Together, Chrisna, Madeleine and Salomie create a space where African ritual and Nordic introspection become two wings of the same bird — guiding you home.
The Sacred Weaving of Two Worlds

Community coming together to build sacred ceremonial space
This retreat is not about cultural fusion for its own sake. It is about listening deeply to the gifts each tradition brings — and honoring them fully.
African Wisdom
In Africa, healing is communal. Drums echo through the land as voices rise together in song. The ancestors are never far. Healing is a circle, not a solitary act. Ubuntu teaches that we are healed through connection — through remembering that we belong.
Swedish Stillness
In Sweden, healing often begins in silence. In the forest, alone with the trees, one listens to the still voice within. The soul is touched through nature, through solitude, through simple beauty. Here, the sacred is quiet and vast.
When these two meet — the fire and the stillness, the circle and the forest — something powerful happens.
This retreat honors both:
- • The African wisdom of healing together, dancing together, praying together
- • The Swedish reverence for inner reflection, grounded presence, and nature as temple
Forest Meditation & Inner Reflection
In the Swedish tradition, healing often begins in silence. In the forest, alone with the trees, one listens to the still voice within. The soul is touched through nature, through solitude, through simple beauty.
Here, the sacred is quiet and vast, offering space for deep contemplation and connection with your inner wisdom.

Sacred Offerings & Practices

While the rhythm of the retreat will follow the group's unique unfolding, these sacred practices will weave through our time together:
Ancient Teachings
Step into the wisdom of lineages that have guided humanity for millennia. Through stories, rituals, and embodied practices, you will be invited to reconnect with truths that are timeless — teachings that honor both African ancestral traditions and the quiet reverence of the Nordic forest. These teachings are not theory; they are lived pathways that awaken remembrance in your soul.
Trauma Release
Healing often means releasing what the body has carried for too long. Through gentle yet powerful practices — from psychosynthesis to somatic work and community rituals — you will be guided to safely loosen the grip of old wounds. This is not about reliving the past, but about creating space for freedom, renewal, and a lighter way of walking through life.
Connecting with the Elements of Nature
The forest becomes your temple, the fire your teacher, the water your reflection, the earth your grounding, the wind your breath. By attuning to the elements, you remember that you are not separate from the natural world but part of its living web. In this connection, healing becomes organic — a return to balance through communion with the forces that sustain life.
Breathwork
Your breath is the bridge between body and spirit. In guided breathwork sessions, you will experience how conscious breathing opens the heart, clears the mind, and awakens energy within. Breathwork is a doorway — to release, to insight, to presence. Each inhale and exhale becomes a sacred prayer, aligning you with the rhythm of life itself.
Deeper Guidance with Spirit Guides
Across traditions, it is known that we do not walk alone. Spirit guides, ancestors, and unseen allies are always near, ready to offer wisdom and support. Through guided journeys and ceremony, you will be invited to open to their presence — to listen, to receive, and to deepen trust in the guidance that flows from beyond the visible world.
Ayurvedic Lifestyle & Nutrition
Food is medicine, and the way we nourish ourselves shapes our body, mind, and spirit. Rooted in ancient Indian wisdom, Ayurveda offers practical ways to eat and live in harmony with your unique constitution. Through shared meals, teachings, and experiential learning, you will discover how conscious nourishment supports balance, clarity, and vitality.
Learning to Be Guided by Animal Totem
Animals carry wisdom that speaks to the soul. Each carries medicine — strength, resilience, intuition, protection, vision. By learning to attune to your animal totem, you awaken a deeper connection with the natural and spiritual worlds. This practice offers guidance, companionship, and a mirror for the gifts and challenges on your path.
This is a container of reverence. Each element is offered with deep respect to its origin and with love for the souls who receive it.
